I always enjoy keeping up to date on the upcoming movie releases, and as a designer I particularly enjoy their movie poster artwork. Here is a compilation of upcoming movie posters for 2010.

Iron Man 2

Paramount Pictures and Marvel Entertainment present the highly anticipated sequel to the blockbuster film based on the legendary Marvel Super Hero “Iron Man”, reuniting director Jon Favreau and Oscar nominee Robert Downey Jr. In Iron Man 2, the world is aware that billionaire inventor Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) is the armored Super Hero Iron Man. Robin Hood

Just Wright

Shrek Forever After

The Good Heart

Brian Cox stars as Jacques, the curmudgeonly owner of a gritty New York dive bar that serves as home to a motley assortment of professional drinkers. Jacques is determinedly drinking and smoking himself to death when he meets Lucas (Paul Dano), a homeless young man who has already given up on life. In the hopes of keeping his legacy alive, Jacques deems Lucas is a fitting heir and takes him under his wing, schooling him in the male centric laws of his alcoholic clubhouse: no new customers, no fraternizing with customers and, absolutely no women. Lucas is a quick study, but their friendship is put to the test when the distraught and beautiful April (Isild Le Besco) shows up at the bar seeking shelter, and Lucas insists they help her out.

Tyler Perry’s Why Did I Get Married Too

Stolen

The feature film debut for indie director/producer team Anders Anderson and Andy Steinman, STOLEN, is a gripping mystery thriller starring MAD MEN’s Jon Hamm, Josh Lucas (GLORY ROAD), and James Van Der Beek (DAWSON’S CREEK), that centers on a small town police chief, Detective Tom Adkins (Hamm). Haunted by the disappearance of his ten year old son, Adkins takes on the case of another murdered boy whose mummified remains lead to a 50 year old unsolved mystery. The striking similarities in the cases almost push Adkins obsession over the top as he unravels the unspeakable truth behind what happened to his son.

The Perfect Game

Living amidst the gritty poverty in Monterrey, Mexico, a rag tag group of boys from the wrong side of the tracks discovers the joy of sandlot baseball under the guidance of Cesar, an aspiring Major League Coach thwarted by discrimination. Armed with the dream of playing a real Little League game, the young players defy a total lack of resources, disapproving parents, and widespread prejudice to score their first Little League victory and find themselves at the beginning of a once in a lifetime journey all the way to the 1957 Little League World Series where a miracle will cement their place in history and change their lives forever.

Kick-Ass

How come nobody ever tried to be a superhero? However, he’s not the only superhero out there the fearless and highly trained father daughter crime fighting duo, Big Daddy and Hit Girl have been slowly but surely taking down the criminal empire of local Mafioso, Frank D Amico. And, as Kick Ass gets drawn into their no holds barred world of bullets and bloodletting with Frank’s son, Chris, now reborn as Kick Ass’s arch nemesis, Red Mist the stage is set for a final showdown between the forces of good and evil in which the DIY hero will have to live up to his name. Or die trying.

Hubble 3D

Through the power of IMAX 3D, Hubble 3D will enable movie goers to journey through distant galaxies to explore the grandeur and mysteries of our celestial surroundings, and accompany space walking astronauts as they attempt the most difficult and important tasks in NASA s history. The film will offer an inspiring and unique look into the Hubble Space Telescope s legacy and highlight its profound impact on the way we view the universe and ourselves. Hubble 3D is an IMAX and Warner Bros. Pictures production, in cooperation with National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). The film reunites the Space Station 3D filmmaking team, led by Producer/Director Toni Myers. Hubble 3D will blast off exclusively to IMAX and IMAX 3D theatres on March 19th, 2010.

The A-Team

THE A-TEAM follows the exciting and daring exploits of a colorful team of former Special Forces soldiers who were set up for a crime they did not commit. Going rogue, they utilize their unique talents to try and clear their names and find the true culprit. Liam Neeson (Taken), Bradley Cooper (The Hangover), mixed martial arts champ Quinton Rampage Jackson, and District 9 sensation Sharlto Copley, are The A-Team.

Toy Story 3

The creators of the beloved “Toy Story” films re—open the toy box and bring moviegoers back to the delightful world of Woody, Buzz and our favorite gang of toy characters in TOY STORY 3. Woody and Buzz had accepted that their owner Andy would grow up someday, but what happens when that day arrives? In the third installment, Andy is preparing to depart for college, leaving his loyal toys troubled about their uncertain future. Lee Unkrich (codirector of Toy Story and Finding Nemo) directs this highly anticipated film, and Michael Arndt, the Academy Award winning screenwriter of “Little Miss Sunshine, brings his unique talents and comedic sensibilities to the proceedings. TOY STORY 3 will be presented in Disney Digital 3D in select theaters.

Bluebeard

Based on Charles Perrault’s grisly fairytale, Bluebeard tells the story of young Marie Catherine, child bride to an aristocratic ogre with a reputation for murdering his wives. Controversial director Catherine Breillat (The Last Mistress, Fat Girl, Romance) brings her personal touch to this classic tale, a favorite of good little French girls since the 1950’s. Princess Marie Catherine must employ all her cunning to outwit her husband and escape a potentially unpleasant fate.

The Twilight Saga: Eclipse

In THE TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE, Bella once again finds herself surrounded by danger as Seattle is ravaged by a string of mysterious killings and a malicious vampire continues her quest for revenge. In the midst of it all, she is forced to choose between Edward and Jacob knowing that her decision has the potential to ignite the struggle between vampire and werewolf. With her graduation quickly approaching, Bella is confronted with the most important decision of her life.

Salt

In My Sleep

In this edge of your seat thriller, Marcus struggles with parasomnia, a rare sleepwalking disorder.
