This is Short Description
V2. Models AI systems that intend to partially or fully automate some or all of the video and/or audio editing process. Such edits, including includeing, but are not limited to, tasks such as shot selection, project organization, asset management, assembling sequences, fine-cutting, color correction, and audio sound design, synchronization and cleaning and should be confused with human user written automation.

| ARTISTS, ANIMATORS, VFX COMMENTER 1: | Unless I’ve mistaken this also does not sound real or is too broad of a term. There are editing workflows that can assist or automate parts of editing. This term and definition seems to combine too many different things. Also the word “Model” does not make sense here. Models refer to a mathematical entity ie: LLM (a text model) or Diffusion transformer (image model)l. There is no “editing model” While in theory you could possibly use an AI agent to help you create scripts or apps or automate editing processes… there is no model to just automate editing. Calling a script or app a model would be inaccurate here. |
| ARTISTS, ANIMATION, VFX COMMENTER 3: | “AI Systems” |
| POST-PRODUCTION COMMENTER 1: | INSERT: “assembling rough sequences, fine-” “tracking and” |
| CONVENTION DELIBERATION SUMMARY: | Add “audio editing (next to video”); add sound editorial, design, and cleaningAdd shot selection, file management, project org (part of assistant editor’s job)Add text componentsRemove “enabled”Consider standardizing “systems” to “services” (with some debate)Add synchronizationBe cautious with automation of terms that are human actions |
