An appropriate choice of typography can convert your graphic into wonderful artwork. There are many typography designers and type foundries that choose to share their beautiful creations to the public. Below, you’ll find some of the best Free and High-Quality Fonts for clean and professional designs.
Junction
Inspired by my favorite humanist sans serif typefaces, such as Meta, Myriad, and Scala, Junction is where the best qualities of serif and sans serif typefaces come together. It has the hand drawn and human qualities of a serif, and still retains the clarity and efficiencies of a sans serif typeface. It combines the best of both worlds.
Vegur
The dot colon Hyumanisutosanserifufonto Vegur is developed for the logotype. Prominent feature, but are designed to be used in wide range of applications such as logos and text. This humanist sans-serif family is available in OpenType-format in three weights: ExtraLight, Regular and Bold. The typeface can be perfectly used both in body copy and in headlines.
Nilland
A beautiful slab-serif typeface, designed by Manfred Klein. The family consists of 6 weights, regular, bold, extra bold, black, small caps and small caps bold.
Whiteboard Modern
An original hand-drawn typeface, designed by Jay Hilgert. The typeface is currently being designed, so currently only the demo-version is available.
St Transmission
This free font is available in two weights: thin and extrabold. It has standard OpenType features such as ligatures, slashed zero, contextual alternates and lining figures. The Extrabold weight is ideal for bold headlines. Designed by Sascha Timplan. License: free only for private projects.
LOT
LOT free font is applicable for any type of graphic design – web, print, motion graphics etc and perfect for t-shirts and other items like logos, pictograms. Format: Opentype (.otf) Compatible: PC and Mac. The font contains 78 glyphs. License: free for personal and commercial projects.
Chunk Open Source Typeface
Chunk is an ultra-bold slab serif typeface that is reminiscent of old American Western woodcuts, broadsides, and newspaper headlines. Used mainly for display, the fat block lettering is unreserved yet refined for contemporary use.

Happy Phantom
HappyPhantom, a TrueType font created by me, Lauren Thompson was originally released in July of 2009. Inspiration for the typeface came after creating the decorative hand-drawn slab serif font.

An original playful typeface that can be useful for family-related websites. Available in the OpenType format.
Deibi
An original, playful free font, created by Wete, a Spanish type designer.
Amputa Bangiz Standard TTF
An original retro/grungy-font, designed by Quiccs and available for free download. Includes some basic non-alphanumeric characters as well.
Orbitron
Orbitron is a geometric sans-serif typeface intended for display purposes. It features four weights (light, medium, bold, and black), a stylistic alternative, small caps, and a ton of alternate glyphs. Orbitron was designed so that graphic designers in the future will have some alternative to typefaces like Eurostile or Bank Gothic. If you’ve ever seen a futuristic sci-fi movie, you have may noticed that all other fonts have been lost or destroyed in the apocalypse that led humans to flee earth. Only those very few geometric typefaces have survived to be used on spaceship exteriors, spacestation signage, monopolistic corporate branding, uniforms featuring aerodynamic shoulder pads, etc. Of course Orbitron could also be used on the posters for the movies portraying this inevitable future.
RIPE
A Geometric Postmodern slab seriffed face. The serifs feature simplistic rounded terminals and its stroke is uniform. Ripe was designed to be a practical typeface. Each character is distinct, yet consistent. Its subtle differences are clear enough to be easily read at both high and low resolutions, perfect for print, web and screen media.
Sorts Mill Goudy
A ‘revival’ of Goudy Oldstyle and Italic, with features among which are small capitals (in the roman only), oldstyle and lining figures, superscripts and subscripts, fractions, ligatures, class-based kerning, case-sensitive forms, capital spacing. There is support for many languages that use latin script.
Comfortaa
Comfortaa is a simple, modern, legible true type font with 466 different characters and symbols (incl. European accents). Available in three weights: Regular, Bold and Thin. Designed by Johan Aakerlund from Denmark.
